Wired’s Review of the Solaire Portable Infrared Grill

October 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Wired.com posted a review this week of the Solaire Portable Infrared grill.  This baby will run you about $400 and according to their review, even more in propane (plan on carrying a spare tank). Here’s a short summary:

The good:

  • Heats up fast.
  • Stainless.
  • Light and portable.

The Bad:

  • On the expensive side.
  • Propane addict.
  • Takes longer to cool down (which can suck if you are tailgating and trying to stick it in the car right before you head into the stadium!)
