I can’t believe I missed this, but Oscar Myer died on July 8 at age 95 (who said hot dogs and bologna are bad for you?). This was the third Oscar Mayer to run the company we all know and love as producers of tubular meats (among other things). So next time you down a ‘dog, pause and lift that tube of meat and sing the song in tribute of the last Oscar Mayer:
I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner
