Another Tailgating Must, Portable Blender!

October 7, 2020 · 1 Comment

I continue to dream about my ultimate tailgating setup and this next beauty seems to fit with whatever level I decide I can afford.  I mean, who wants to plug a blender into a generator when you can blow the eardrums out of your tailgating neighbors?  The tailgator portable blender is powered by a 2 and 1/4 horsepower engine.  That’s right, it’s cordless, all you have to do is crank it up and sniff some exhaust while you blend the perfect Margarita!  Want to draw a crowd at your next tailgate?  Crank one of these bad boys up and see who comes over to check out your drink making madness…

If you are so inclined, you can make your own weed whacker blender.  Here’s an example of a chopper design.  I bet this dude can party, he’s invited to our tailgate any time (courtesy of collegehumor.com)!

Man cannot live by pork chop alone. Every now and then you must sauce it up a bit. This smokey green sauce blends great with a pork chop. The combination of roasted poblano peppers, tomatillos and garlic make a savory sauce. This might also make a great base for a roasted corn and black bean salsa, which I might have to try some day soon. I'll let you know when I do. It's best to cook this recipe on a charcoal grill, so that the smokey flavor gets infused into the peppers and tomatillos and a side of mushrooms
