World Record Mixed Grill

February 25, 2015 · Leave a Comment

What do you get when you combine 70 lbs. of grilled chicken pieces, 22 pounds of pita bread and 27 lbs. of produce?  A world record for largest Jerusalem Mixed Grill, of course!  I have been to Jerusalem and it is an amazing place.  I ate some of the best food I have had in my life there.  The lamb risotto, the falafel from the street vendors…but I can honestly say I never was offered grilled chicken livers, hearts and kidneys.  I’m thankful for that, because I probably would have tried it while in the Old City.  22 pound pita bread on the other hand…mix it with some of the amazing hummus over there and I will literally dive right in!
