Basil Butter Grilled Chicken Breasts
Butter and basil basted chicken breast make a savory, moist grilled chicken breast.
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves finely chopped
- Kosher salt
- Ground black pepper
Preheat the grill to high.
Rub the chicken breasts with Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper.
Combine the melted butter with the basil and then brush it on both sides of the chicken breasts. Make sure you leave some so we can baste the breasts later.
Place the chicken breasts on the grill and grill for about 4 - 5 minutes on the first side.
Flip the chicken breasts over and baste with the remaining butter and basil mixture and close the lid.
Grill the chicken breasts for 5 more minutes or until done (every grill is different!).
