Grilled Sriracha Chicken Wings

Asian-inspired chicken wings, with Sriracha based wing sauce. Get your napkins ready.

Ingredients

  • chicken wings
  • fresh ground black pepper

Sauce

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/3 cup sriracha add another 1/4 cup if you like it hot
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • juice from 1/2 lime

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high.
  • Combine all of the sauce ingredients into a small pan and heat to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes and then keep the sauce warm while we grill the chicken wings.
  • Trim the wing tips (the part you can't eat) from the wings if you have limited space on your grill.
  • Sprinkle the chicken wings with some fresh ground black pepper.
  • Grill the chicken wings until cooked through, about 18 to 20 minutes total, turning every few minutes.
  • Remove the chicken wings from the grill and place in a pot or bowl large enough to allow you  to toss them around in the sauce.
  • Add the sauce to the wings and toss to coat thoroughly, allowing them to soak in the sauce for a few minutes.
  • Enjoy with a cool beverage!
